RESILIENT” - The ability to be knocked down by the hardships of life and come back at least as strong as before.

Luke 21:29-36“Notice the fig tree, or any other tree.  When the leaves come out, you now without being told that summer is near.  In the same way, when you see all these things taking place you can know that the Kingdom of God is near. Watch out!  Don’t let your hearts be dulled by carousing and drunkenness, and by the worries of the life… Keep alert at all times.  And Pray that you might be strong enough to escape these coming horrors.”

Matthew 16:18 -  Now I say to you … upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it.  NLT

KATISCHUO” - “overcoming” – or “victorious” strength.

Philippians 4:13I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me.

Matthew 25:1-10 – “Then (in those last days) the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten bridesmaids who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom.  Five of them were foolish, and five were wise.  The five who were foolish didn’t take enough olive oil for their lamps, but the other five were wise enough to take along extra oil. When the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and fell asleep.  At midnight they were roused by the shout, “Look, the bridegroom is coming!  Come out and meet him!” All the bridesmaids got up and prepared their lamps. Then the five foolish ones asked the others, “Please give us some of your oil because our lamps are going out.” But the others replied, “We don’t have enough for all of us. Go to a shop and buy some for yourselves” But while they were gone to buy oil, the bridegroom came.  Then those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was locked.”  NLT

2 Chronicles 16:9 “"The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.” NLT
