What to expect
Kid’s life begins every Sunday with check in starting at 9:45am and our service starting at 10am.
When you arrive at Turning Point, our team will show you the way to the children’s wing. At the entrance to the hall we have team members who will register your child. Where you will fill out a quick and easy form explaining your child’s age and any necessary information needed to make your child’s experience safe and meaningful. Your child will be issued a sticker with their name and allergies listed, as well as a matching code to the sticker you, as guardian, will receive. This parent tag allows you to pick your child up after service, as well as allowing us to contact you during service if there is a need for your child to be picked up.
Nursery
We have a fully functioning nursery with attendants that have a heart for sweet babies. Our room is equipped with a changing area, an area for resting, and a play area. Babies are sung to, told about Jesus, prayed over, and play games while parents are in service. When dropped off each baby is given a tag with a number that the parents will have so that if they are needed during service we can put up their number so that they can come as quickly as possible. To be checked out this tag will be verified to match the babies as well.
Preschool
Preschool is for ages 24 months-5 years of age.
In preschool, children start to engage more with their church experience, so we help them interact and build their faith through stories, prayer, crafts, and songs that give them Biblical truths. They also start to form relationships with other kids and their teachers. We post on Facebook weekly about what we learned on Sunday as well as sending a monthly email to parents detailing what is in store for that month.
Elementary
Elementary is for K-5th grade.
In Kid’s Life children experience dynamic worship and Biblical lessons, partnered with in-depth small group time to discuss the Bible story. Children pray together, worship and grow together, as well as have a fun-packed experience together. Each month we send a parent email containing what we are learning along with our verse for the month. Also weekly on our Kid's Life Facebook page we post about what we learned on that Sunday.
Partnering With Parents
In Kid’s Life, we also believe in partnering with parents to see families grow together. Family is made strong through relationship, worshiping together, and playing together! This is the philosophy that drives how we minister to families and the next generation at Turning Point.
Together, we can help encourage, train, and pray for your children as they grow in their faith. Here are some useful partnering suggestions to help drive your child’s growth:

Attend service times regularly to help your kids build a relationship with their teachers, leaders, and other children.

Read our monthly emails so that you know what your children are learning about. Also look at our Facebook page where we post weekly what we have learned about.

Pray for your children each week as they come to church, and pray for our teams as they serve and care for your kids.

Build relationships with other Turning Point Parents, and join one of our Small Groups.
