GO Missions

Welcome to the team traveling to Costa Rica.
Costa Rica is a diverse country in Central America, between Panama and Nicaragua. It is home to over 4.5 million people, nearly half of whom live in the capital city of San José.
Amidst the beautiful beaches, vast coffee fields, and breathtaking mountains, there are very real needs to be met. Our GO Missions Team will be will working with Christ for the City International (CFCI). CFCI works to bring the message of Christ to the impoverished slums of undocumented Nicaraguans, to the women and young girls who are targets for sex trafficking, to the homeless, to the children and youth who need Godly role models, to the AIDS victims, and to so many other who are in desperate need of the hope of Jesus Christ.
Part of our vision of CFCI is to see NO PERSON without hope. For this reason, they have multiple ministries in places all around Costa Rica, from the largest slum in Central America (La Carpio), to Tirrases, Guanacaste, and even one of the most dangerous areas in Costa Rica; Pavas.
The GO Missions team will be involved in various ministries and projects of CFI. More information will be provided soon with the details of the project involvement.

TRIP BREAKDOWN:
- July 12-19, 2025
- Cost: $2,500. All payments are non-refundable. If you choose to cancel at any time, the funds on record will be used to help fund the entire project or to support CFCI's mission in Costa Rica.
- Application Deadline: March 1 with $500 deposit
- 1st Payment due date $1,000.00 April 13, 2025
- 2nd Payment due date $1,000.00 May 15, 2025

- Basic Travel vaccinations recommended (View the CDC Recommended List)
- Completed online application with a $500 deposit submitted by March 1st. (Deposit is refundable if application is not accepted)
* Cost covers most expenses, including airfare from home airport, housing, meals and ground transportation. Meals while traveling to and from Costa Rica, snacks, souvenirs, etc. will be your responsibility.
