Turning Point Youth - What We Do

At Turning Point our goal is to help take students on a spiritual journey as they follow Christ. We accomplish this by helping them Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Making a Difference. As our students take these steps they will grow closer to God, have great relationships, and learn how to serve and lead in the church. We believe that students who are connected to a life-giving church and healthy relationships can follow Jesus for a lifetime, and they will use their gifts and passions to make a difference and make an impact on earth.

Wednesday Nights

Wednesday nights at 7PM our youth students join together for worship, learning together, and small groups. We encourage students to come at 6PM for an hour of hanging out, games and fun! We have a snack store open at that time with italian sodas, candy, chips, and pizza!

Sunday Mornings

Sunday mornings we have a dedicated Junior High service starting at 10AM, but doors open at 9:40 for students to hang out. While students will always start in the youth room, they join main service for worship before launching into their own sermon for young teenagers.

Small Groups

We believe that freedom happens in relationship! Because of this, our students meet in small groups every Wednesday night based on their age and gender. Each small group has a trained small group leader who is there to facilitate their conversations and help mentor students on how to apply the biblical truths we talk about to their lives. These groups are where students get the opportunity to talk through biblical application and process through what’s going on in their lives.

Growth Track

We encourage all students to go through our four week process on Sunday mornings called Growth Track. This process starts on the first Sunday of every month and goes through the vision of the church, how God created us to be a part of it, and more! Students are encouraged to be a part of our Dream Team at Turning Point

Events

We design events throughout the year for students to have an encounter with God, to have fun and build relationships, and to serve the community around them. If you as a parent ever see an event that you want to get involved in, don’t hesitate to contact us! To find more information on upcoming events, head to our main page!
